  What a brilliant tour, an absolute must when visiting Rome. Our guide Juliano was excellent, very knowledgeable and funny would thoroughly recommend this. To skip the line is a bonus .

LOOK NO FURTHER! If you want to see all these... read more places in roughly 3-4 hours in a way where you also get to understand the history properly, I think this tour is awesome. I want to give a special shout-out to our tour guide Marco! The sheer amount of effort Marco put into delivering this tour was awesome. We were very happy with the thoroughness with which Marco narrated everything inside St. Peter's Basilica and near the Sistine Chapel. He went as far as discussing the marriage of art and politics in old days and how it panned out into these structures we were visiting today. So it was not just "Hey look at this, it was made in such and such year by such and such person" but a whole lot more. We essentially went through nearly every statue inside the beautiful Basilica and heard about its history. We were pretty sure we wouldn't have learned so much if we went on our own to these incredible places.

The tour started on time and the guide was able to get us into the Basilica before the line got big outside. He knew what he was doing. We were also handed radios and he spoke on a microphone so we didn't need to chase him to understand his narration. He also interacted with us, asked questions and provided answers. Also cracked jokes from time to time. Overall, we got a very neat experience.

I am reasonably certain that if you pick this tour, you will come out contented. If you get Marco as your tour guide, you surely should come out happy. That guy deserves a pay raise, no kidding!

  This was the first tour we did during our time in Rome, and it got our trip off to an amazing start. Everything about this tour was easy, from finding... read more the meeting point, to entering the sites. Everything was organised for us, and it meant we got to simply enjoy it. We had Lucia as our guide, and we couldn't fault her in any way. She was friendly, even taking the time to go round the group and ask everyone their name and where they were from. Lucia clearly has lots of knowledge which she was able to communicate effectively to the group. Out of the 2 of us that took this tour, 1 of us had previously visited Rome and the attractions on this tour, while the other hadn't. However, we both were able to learn lots, with Lucia pointing out very intricate details which I had not previously been shown. She was able to do this without boring us or overloading us with information. She also gave us lots of opportunities for photos, and explained everything as she did it. Even showing us how we would return to the sites, and where to go from the ending point. Lucia was able to give information about Rome in general too, even offering restaurant recommendations to a member of the group. She kept a good pace, and allowed us to enjoy our time in Rome. This tour is also great value for money, with it being the only one I could find which includes St Peter's Basilica alongside the Vatican Museums. I would recommend this tour to anyone, and I would definitely book this again should I return to Rome.

Even when the tour finished, we could stay in the museum for as long as we wanted and we went back to the Vatican as well so we could go up the dome of the Basilica!

  Lucia was an excellent guide, friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended fir anyone visiting Rome as the tour covers so much history and art.
