Everything about this tour was easy, from finding... read more the meeting point, to entering the sites. Everything was organised for us, and it meant we got to simply enjoy it. We had Lucia as our guide, and we couldn't fault her in any way. She was friendly, even taking the time to go round the group and ask everyone their name and where they were from. Lucia clearly has lots of knowledge which she was able to communicate effectively to the group. Out of the 2 of us that took this tour, 1 of us had previously visited Rome and the attractions on this tour, while the other hadn't. However, we both were able to learn lots, with Lucia pointing out very intricate details which I had not previously been shown. She was able to do this without boring us or overloading us with information. She also gave us lots of opportunities for photos, and explained everything as she did it. Even showing us how we would return to the sites, and where to go from the ending point. Lucia was able to give information about Rome in general too, even offering restaurant recommendations to a member of the group. She kept a good pace, and allowed us to enjoy our time in Rome. This tour is also great value for money, with it being the only one I could find which includes St Peter's Basilica alongside the Vatican Museums. I would recommend this tour to anyone, and I would definitely book this again should I return to Rome.

Going to the Vatican with a guide... read more is totally worth it, otherwise you’ll miss many of the historical details behind the sculptures and paintings. We were a family of 4, with two teenagers that enjoyed the tour from beginning to end.

I can’t stress enough just how much her enthusiasm and charisma made the tour even more unique to the other dreary tours going on around us. The entire experience was truly unforgettable, we are both eagerly waiting to return to Rome to go on the tour again and experience it all over.
