We met Giuliano at the tour operators office and he gave a run down of the tour. We walked to the Vatican "skipping" past the very long queue waiting to get in and went fairly quickly through the security inspection barrier. Giuliano was like having your well informed big brother take you round always giving out information and making sure his "family" were keeping up with him. We visited all the art and sculpture galleries, which then led us the the Sistine chapel which you aren’t aloud to talk in or take pictures which we were fine with as it is honestly eye-opening and breathtaking. Vatican City is just amazing. Highly recommend anyone to go and book this excursion through ‘viatour’ or on here for made in Rome tours. Definitely worth every penny and certainly got more out of the tour than visiting Vatican City on our own. Without being given all the information that Giuliano provided, I don’t think my family and I could have appreciated exploring Vatican City as much as we did. Also lovely to hear Giuliano was Baptised at St.Peters. The reception lady and Giuliano himself made sure we were not excluded or left behind as we didn’t make it to the meeting point and we feared we had missed out on our tour which is what I have heard of other tours. Lucia equiped everyone in our group with admission tickets and headsets for the tour. My husband and I were in awe and humbled by the wonders of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Basilica.
