  This is not a tour but simply gets you into the Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel. After we were in our 'guide' disappeared. The Vatican like to do their own guided tours... read more for 80euros or so. This did indeed get us straight into the museum but at the time we went there were no queues! So we could have entered for 17 euros each.

Our tour guide was amazing and really... read more knew her stuff, her name was Claire. She always got you involved and asked questions making it more fun for us while walking round. We visited all the art and sculpture galleries, which then led us the the Sistine chapel which you aren’t aloud to talk in or take pictures which we were fine with as it is honestly eye-opening and breathtaking. Vatican City is just amazing. Highly recommend anyone to go and book this excursion through ‘viatour’ or on here for made in Rome tours. If I visit Rome again which i probably will I’d go to Vatican City again 100%!

We were even more happy after the tour! Giuliano( I hope I spell the name correctly) was really great! He gave good amount of information, he spoke clearly and moreover he is very kind and well organised. We really didn’t have to wait anywhere for longer than few minutes and he did his job really great! I really recommend him!

  This was, no exaggeration, the best tour we went on while in Rome. It was also the most expensive, but well worth the money. Firstly, the tour operators showed... read more their professionalism before we even booked the tour, when they replied to a question we had (whether the tour actually includes St. Peter's Basilica; we'd seen elsewhere that it may have been closed due to Covid, which thankfully wasn't the case, as we wanted the tour to include all 3 key Vatican locations) quickly and explained everything we needed to know. They also sent us a message, in both email and SMS form, with some relevant information the night before the tour. Secondly, the tour itself was by far the most memorable out of the 4 we went on (the other 3 obviously weren't Vatican tours so this may be like comparing apples to oranges, but the fact remains) in Rome. Marco was a delightful tour guide, he made the tour interesting, engaging and funny, and we almost never felt the 3- 3,5 hour length of the tour. We also kept a steady pace throughout, with only a bit of hurrying between the Basilica and the Vatican Museums. We came out of the tour feeling like we've learned plenty, and much of the information extended to the rest of our stay, like being able to recognize some of the symbolism and family crests in other places throughout Rome. We really can't recommend it enough, it was one of the highlights of our trip.
