Cannot recommend these tours highly enough, we went in the Basilica 3 years ago without a guide and missed out on so much of the history behind the many statues, tombs and mosaics.

To be honest we are a quite independent family and purchased the tickets mainly to skip the lines (don’t fancy most guided tours) but in this case we were glad to have experienced the tour. Any question we had was answered, many facts unknown to us were elaborated and Giuliano left us (and al others in the group as far as I can judge) very satisfied. Highest possible recommendation.

He does... read more a great job at pointing out minor details. The Vatican museum is enormous. There is no way you can see everything unless you go multiple days. There is also a lack of description on most of the exhibits so unless you have studied the subject in depth, you really may not know what you’re looking at. Headsets are provided in the museum. Would have been lost without this tour. And you really do skip the line!
