  We have been to Rome before, and we've seen the Sisten Chapel, the Vatican, and St. peter's Basilica before. The tour guide was great. It is a long tour, but then there is a lot to see, and the guide kept our attention throughout the entire three hours. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and fun. And the skip the line part is a huge perk. The lines are always so long, and if you are traveling in the summer months, it's hot. It even rained while we were walking to the Vatican so standing out there would not have been enjoyable. But our tour guide made it so. I highly recommend you book this tour! Lucia equiped everyone in our group with admission tickets and headsets for the tour. My husband and I were in awe and humbled by the wonders of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Basilica. The mosaic's, paintings and frescos are all something to experience first-hand and having a tour guide help explain the intricacies of these marvelous works of art adds not only the experience, but to understanding the motivation behind the works. We were guided from the trip provider office to St Peter's Square, then on to the Vatican Museum, Sistene Chapel... read more and to the entrance of St Peter's Church. Julliano was friendly, full of energy and his knowledge was second to none. With his guidance, we learned a great deal about the Vatican, ancient Rome and current life in the state. All the sites were breathtaking - we were truly taken aback. Well worth paying a little extra to skip the line (the queue was huge) and to invest in a tour guide to make the most of your visit.

The presentation of all the major works was fascinating and done in a concise and interesting fashion (hats off to Julien). In addition, there were about 20% of the normal tourists, due to the pandemic, so we breezed through with very few disruptions. If you plan on visiting the Vatican, do this tour, you’ll be as satisfied as we were!
