Definitely worth every penny and certainly got more out of the tour than visiting Vatican City on our own. Without being given all the information that Giuliano provided, I don’t think my family and I could have appreciated exploring Vatican City as much as we did. Also lovely to hear Giuliano was Baptised at St.Peters. The reception lady and Giuliano himself made sure we were not excluded or left behind as we didn’t make it to the meeting point and we feared we had missed out on our tour which is what I have heard of other tours. Not only because what we saw but the way he organised the whole tour, we really skipped... read more the line, and were given a special tour within the Vatican museum, where the group received a radio-headphone system, so we could always heard Giuliano's comments and guidance where to go, even when we were in a crowded place. He told us history, art, interesting facts and was able to answer to any questions we asked. He was kind and this tour was the best and most time efficient way to see sections of the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel and the St. Peter's Basilica. Of course during this covid time there are less people which makes taking a tour even better.... read more Highly recommend using Vatican tours as your tour guide and going to Rome now. We have 4 kids and had a private tour. Marco was really good with our kids (8, 9, 12 & 16). He had the kids finding things and made it very engaging for them. They found the gold and silver keys. And the bees from a certain family. Do the tour to learn the meaning. 🙂

They also do tours of Rome city, Rome underground, coliseum and other things. My only regret is not finding them sooner. Marco suggests when coming to Rome to do the Rome city tour first and then do the others after that. For kids he does a treasure hunt during the Rome city tour so the kids have so much fun finding things and learn a lot too.

A good tour guide makes learning fun for every age. Vatican tours did this. I highly recommend them.
