It was awkward for everyone. Guide talked very very slowly. Some people had to cut out bc tour was going on for so long. Organizers just wanted to pack people into even groups and go. With some foresight and planning, they could organize the groups and make it enjoyable for everyone.

Our guide was Lucia and she was extremely knowledgable. We learned a lot. It was nice to have a guide and I would highly recommend especially to skip the line. St. Peter’s basilica was really amazing. I find stories about the saints so interesting. You can even go up inside the highest dome of the basilica.
Overall the tour was fab.

St Peter's basilica was incredible, I had tears in my eyes when we went stepped inside and was nearly in tears again as mass was being held while we were there. St Peter's square was amazing to see and the Sistine chapel was fabulous. The trip to the dome is well worth doing as the view is amazing. We continued to the copula and, while one part of the staircase is a little narrow, it's bright and well-lit so doesn't feel in any was claustrophobic. Overall, fantastic.

St Peter's Square was empty and the lines... read more for the Vatican went fast. Marco really highlighted all of the "Must Sees" at each location. He gave us time to really appreciate the history and beauty all around. Check in was super easy and my 3 children (16,14 and 11) loved how engaging Marco was with them.
