Glad... read more I had someone to bring me to the highlights in the Vatican museum because if I remember facts from yesterday: there are 1200 rooms and if you wanted to see every item in the museum for 1 minute each then you would have to spend 14.5 years doing so. Get your ticket to avoid this!

St Peter's basilica was incredible, I had tears in my eyes when we went stepped inside and was nearly in tears again as mass was being held while we were there. St Peter's square was amazing to see and the Sistine chapel was fabulous. The trip to the dome is well worth doing as the view is amazing. We continued to the copula and, while one part of the staircase is a little narrow, it's bright and well-lit so doesn't feel in any was claustrophobic. Overall, fantastic.
