Giuliano (our tour guide) did an excellent job at explaining to us the history behind all of the places that we visited, and he did with such a charisma that made the well worth 3-hour tour all the more enjoyable. While 3 hours might seem like a lot, but the time went flying at his guidance and I never had the feeling that the tour might have been too long. Quite the opposite, I wish we had more time to see other rooms of the Vatican Museum! My only "complain" is that on the guided tour to the Vatican museum, we didn't go to one of the most famous rooms (the Raffael Rooms). Had I not seen some of the souvenirs at the museum (there are at least three, so if you regret not buying something right after, you will get another chance no worries), I would have missed the frescoes that are there (In my opinion, less or equal impressive than the ones in the Sistine chapel).

In addition, he gives an overview of what to expect when we enter the bldg and he starts giving history before entering the bldg which make it more meaningful.
