If that was me I wouldn't do that ‍️ he is that nice.... long story short... go with Jullian!!!!!! HE IS THE MAN!!!!

The only slightly down side I would say is the radio reception on my headset, it's quite temperamental and as it's quite a large group, you can't always stand close to the guide.

One small tip, after you exit the Sistine Chapel and finish the tour, make sure you go back in the museum and see Raphael's School of Athens painting as tour groups aren't allowed in that section of the museum.

Inspired, we returned the next day to access the dome on our own. Notes for future travelers: This tour does have some time outdoors that can be very hot (entry lines and a 10 min synopsis of Sistine Chapel paintings). Also note that time in the Vatican museums is minimal with the guide but you are free to explore afterwards.

Marco was very knowledgeable about his subject and clearly loves his work. He was also entertaining and fun ... and an on hand photographer to save you from the dreaded selfies 😉

There is a lot of walking so take comfy shoes!

  Marco was our guide. He spoke very good English and it was very structured. It was a delight to have him guiding us through the Colloseum and Forum Romanum.

He gave us time to really appreciate the history and beauty all around. Check in was super easy and my 3 children (16,14 and 11) loved how engaging Marco was with them.
