Lucia equiped everyone in our group with admission tickets and headsets for the tour. My husband and I were in awe and humbled by the wonders of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Basilica. The mosaic's, paintings and frescos are all something to experience first-hand and having a tour guide help explain the intricacies of these marvelous works of art adds not only the experience, but to understanding the motivation behind the works.   Five groups went out. They could have organized tour into groups based on pace. Our group had a person on crutches and some elderly people who felt bad... read more slowing the group down. It was awkward for everyone. Guide talked very very slowly. Some people had to cut out bc tour was going on for so long. Organizers just wanted to pack people into even groups and go. With some foresight and planning, they could organize the groups and make it enjoyable for everyone.
